Seminar Dr. Takayuki Nonoyama of Hokkaido University, Japan and Dr. Wasudeo Gurnule of Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, India visited the Material Chemistry Research Laboratory on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Dr. Nonoyama spoke about his work on hydrogels and Dr. Gurnule presented an introduction to nanomaterials at the seminar. They were honoured with bouquets at the end of the seminar by Dr. M. Muhibur Rahman and Dr. M. Yousuf Ali Mollah.
Imran Hossain and Subha Islam Win ‘Best Poster Awards’ Imran Hossain and Subha Islam won the 1st position for the ‘Best Poster Award’ for the first and third day of the conference, respectively, at the Bangladesh Chemical Congress 2018 held on October 17-19, 2018 at University of Dhaka. 26 members of the Material Chemistry Research Laboratory attended the conference, with 5 oral presentation and 21 poster presentations.

A seminar on ”Circularly Polarized Luminescence Spectroscopy” was organised at the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka, where Professor Muller spoke about his work.
