Tanvir Ahmed’s undergraduate project work was an attempt at drug loading in mesoporous silica nanoparticles, in such a way that the materials could be used for target specific applications. The structural color of the material was also investigated by casting the dispersion of silica particles on glass plates. His thesis work for completion of his masters degree was an extension of his undergraduate project work.
